We are happy to offer you a new Kazakhstan 10,000 Tenge commemorative banknote. This beautiful blue-violet hybrid banknote was issued on 4 July 2011 with a circulation of 30,000,000.
This Kazakhstan banknote commemorates the 20th anniversary of independence of the Republic of Kazakhstan and is mainly blue-violet in color.
On the obverse, the images are vertical, depicting the Republic of Kazakhstan's state symbols (emblem and flag), flying pigeons, and the Kazak Eli monument.
On the reverse of the 10000 Tenge 2011 banknote, images are horizontal and show the shape of the map of Kazakhstan, the logo of Independence Day, and the residence of the Kazakhstan's President. Face value and name of issuing authority appear on both sides.

A new silver coin was recently added to the series commemorating Kazakhstan's ceremonies and traditional games. The reverse of this coin, Otau Koteru, depicts a man on horseback in the act of helping set up a yurt. The topmost part of the yurt, symbolizing the hearth and prosperity, is prominently featured on the coin.

Kazakhstan's National Bank recently issued a new coin in the series commemorating space travel. The coin, Lunokhod-1, features the first lunar rover launched by the Soviet Union in 1970. Like other coins in the series, this commemorative coin is made from sterling silver and tantalum, a metal used in the aerospace industry.
